Philosophy

Some educators today recognize the three different subsets of learners when teaching mathematics; others don't. I believe students who will pursue mathematics, science, and engineering are different from those who will use mathematics in their careers or those who use it in daily lives without realizing it. I tailor my teaching methods to meet the needs of each learner, as what is important for one may not be relevant for another. â€‹

​In fact, there are many students who are very skilled in math who hate it! I often ask my students to draw how they feel when doing math.

I understand students who don't need a certain math but are "forced" to take it anyway.
